Joe Nahas is also working on other important projects, aside from his collaboration with Jamie Durie in 8 Phillip Street. The Property Managing Director revealed that they are working on some of the most important projects in Liverpool, and that is a mixed-used apartment specifically beneficial for entrepreneurs and people running their family businesses. Interested? Sure you are! It is one of Joe Nahas property creations after all!
Details about the project
The Australian development firm is in the process of conversion of the heritage-listed warehouse into a retail precinct found in Liverpool. Joe Nahas called the plan the Paper Mill. It provides the convenience for the residents of having an urban life while they reside in the bank of Georges River. It composes of 1,045 apartments that are equally distributed in the soon-to-rise residential building. Soon enough, it will be a home for many families living in Liverpool. It can be found fronting the Shephard Street, and it covers up to 1,400 square meters.
The 19th-century character of the warehouse will be preserved, only to be added with a touch of modern design and other features. The warehouse once has a saw tooth raft that was constructed way back in 1914. It’s an extension wing of the Challenge Woollen Mills that manufactures blankets after the Paper Mill closed in 1910. Now, once Joe Nahas’s project is completed, it would become a building with open ceiling and concrete flooring.
Furthermore, al fresco diners will be dotted on the surroundings of the building, and the bike racks of the garden will provide entertainment to the residents. Joe Nahas’ design for this project tends to target the food and drinks retailers and small businesses. It will also be offered to regular retail firms that are interested in activities such as pilates and yoga.
Joe Nahas once again collaborated with Jamie Durie for the landscape design. Hence, you can expect a lot from the Paper Mill project. A playground, Ligh Horse Park, and Mill Park are all present. Some of the biggest contractors working on the SJB and Woods Bagot are also involved in this project. If you are an entrepreneur, you can start imagining how this would be a perfect place for running your business. You don’t need to worry about the slots, the Paper Mill can accommodate up to 3,000 residents, but that doesn’t mean that you should not hurry because Joe Naha’s property designs are selling a lot faster than what you’d thought it would be. It would finally open this coming October 2017.
Joe Nahas also focuses on offering properties for retailers and entrepreneurs aside from the residential projects he usually designs. Therefore, if you are one of the retailers or service providers who is still looking for the perfect spot for your business, then look no more. This is the perfect location for you.
